The Presidente Hotel is located in the heart of Vedado, in one of the most beautiful modern centre places. In the G street, also called Presidents Avenue, the ancient name of the avanue from which the hotel takes its name, one of the Vedado most famous streets, with Paseo Avenue, throughout we could arrive to Revolution Place.
Even if the Presidente Hotel has an exclusive look, it's not among the best Havana hotels, for one part because it has only four stars and from the other because its prestige is hidden by most famous hotels. Nevertheless it remains a discrete hotel, with some luxury and fournished with good taste, with a beautiful swimming pool and near to everything, including the famous Malecon littoral. Furthermore we have to consider the price, which is really reasonnable if we compare it with the luxury, the intimate ambience and the tranquillity the hotel ensures to its guests.
The Presidente Hotel, in spite of its modern appearence, is one of the most classical of Cuba. Built between 1925 and 1927, it was one of the most trendy hotels during all the Machado and Batista dictature duration. Completely restored in the year 2000, it's very frequented by personalities, much like other hotels in the same zone. Further, the hotel has more than 400 art works, much of them in the hall, ensuring to the guest a special ambience since the first moment.
