Inaugurated in 1928 and proposed back in 2002, the Park View Hotel is one of the most singular of the capital. Some sypothesis claim that during the 50' the hotel was one of the mafia preferred places, because of its relative anonymity; in fact, it seems that the hotel allowed activities that would have been infeasible in other most famous hotels. So true that in 1935, the hotel was investigated by having hosted Karpis the famous American gangster, the public enemy n. 1 of US socity.

In any case, this bad reputation is only a past vestige, almost a legend. With Cuban Revolution, the hotel was transformed, little by little to one of the most Havana exclusive hotels, maybe because of its American style, its modernity or its accessible prices.
