Description of the tour

Groups: 2-6 pax, 7-11 pax, 12-16 pax and 20 pax

Day 1: Habana
Arrival to Havana airport. Transfer to Copacabana hotel (****). Check in. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Havana
City tour. Visit to Old Havana, walking around the colonial squares dating from the 16 to the 18 century. Lunch at the local restaurant La Mina. Panoramic visit by bus of modern Havana, stop at the Revolution Square, National Capitol, and the University of Havana, visit to the central square of the university. Possibility of enjoying Havana by night, on the cafes of Obispo street.

Day 3: Havana – Pinar del Río
Departure to the natural park of Mil Cumbres in Pinar del Río, Sierra del Rosario (2 hours transfer), we settle in an old farm, after a light lunch we go to the valley of Sagua, visit to a small local store where farmers buy rationed food with a card, visit of a local school and a local clinic where farmers have access to free medical care, walking on the valley for 3 hours, we meet locals for a little coffee. Return to the camp for dinner and spend the night.

Day 4: Pinar del Río
Trekking for 4 to 5 hours, we discover the local flora, we bring a box lunch and we stop at a small cooperative of farmers with whom we can share experiences. Back to the camp, dinner.

Day 5: Cienfuegos
Departure to Cienfuegos city. On the way we stop at a local restaurant located in Zapata swamp not far from the Bay of Pigs. Visit of the central park of Cienfuegos, the so called pearl of the south, one of the most beautiful cities in Cuba. Check in at rancho Luna Hotel (***) by the beach.

Day 6: Trinidad
Departure to Trinidad, third village founded in Cuba, real living museum where the colonial architecture have been well preserved, lunch at the local restaurant Plaza Mayor .visit of the plaza mayor, La Canchanchara bar, free time in the afternoon. Check in and dinner at the hotel Brisas Trinidad del Mar (****). Cuban soiree in town, alive music everywhere in old town.

Day 7: Trinidad
We go sailing on a catamaran to a small island to enjoy the beach and snorkel on the coral reef, plenty of iguanas around. Lunch in the island back to the hotel at the end of the day. Dinner.

Day 8: Trinidad - Havana
Transfer to Havana, lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Continue to Havana airport for the flight back home.

 Depending on the weather, the guide can modify the itinerary.
