Note: pursuant to agreement 15 of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Cuban Central Bank, dated 24 mar 2005, the exchange rate of the Cuban convertible peso against the US dollar and other foreign currencies has been adjusted. This adjustment went into effect starting 09 apr 05.
In accordance with this agreement, and -- although the prices of (the) services remain unchanged IN PESOS -- these prices have all effectively risen by 10-12% due to this adjustment of the exchange rate; in other words, when you exchange euros against pesos (buy pesos with euros), from now on you will be getting 10-12% less than before the exchange-rate adjustment went into effect.
Also, if you pay via direct bank-transfer, the price will increase by approximately 10%, whereas if you pay by credit- or debit-card, it will go up by 11-12%.
